M|365 Media Fellowship

Inspire + Change

Mobilize365 is proud to announce the launch of the Justice Media Fellowship, a year-long program designed to support and elevate justice-impacted individuals in the fields of documentary filmmaking, storytelling, and media arts. This fellowship embodies our commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive media landscape, where every voice has the power to enact social change.

Fellowship Overview:

  1. Duration and Structure: The fellowship will span one year, providing fellows with an immersive experience in documentary filmmaking, storytelling, and media production. The program will be structured to include mentorship, workshops, hands-on projects, and professional development opportunities.

  2. Mentorship and Training: Fellows will be paired with experienced mentors in the field of documentary filmmaking and media arts. These mentors will provide guidance, share industry insights, and support the fellows in their creative and professional growth.

  3. Project Development: Each fellow will be encouraged to develop their own documentary or media project throughout the year. This project will serve as a capstone to their fellowship, allowing them to apply their learning and showcase their talent.

  4. Networking Opportunities: The fellowship will offer numerous opportunities for networking with industry professionals, attending relevant events, and engaging with a community of like-minded individuals and organizations.

  5. Financial Support: Fellows will receive financial support to cover living expenses, project costs, and travel related to their fellowship activities. This support is crucial in ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder the creative process.

  6. Showcase and Distribution: At the end of the fellowship, the projects developed by the fellows will be showcased in a special event organized by Mobilize365. We will also assist in distributing their work through various channels to ensure maximum visibility and impact.

Eligibility and Application Process:

  • The fellowship is open to justice-impacted individuals who demonstrate a passion and talent for documentary filmmaking, storytelling, or media arts.

  • Applicants will be required to submit a portfolio of their work, a personal statement, and a proposal for a project they wish to develop during the fellowship.

  • A selection committee comprising industry professionals and Mobilize365 representatives will review applications and select the fellows.

Impact and Vision:

Through the Justice Media Fellowship, Mobilize365 aims to empower individuals with unique perspectives and experiences to tell their stories, challenge perceptions, and inspire change. We believe that this fellowship will not only develop individual talents but also contribute to a more equitable and empathetic society by amplifying voices that are often marginalized.
